Samantha is in the thick of the storm relating to ‘The Family Man 2’. Tamil groups have been raising objections about the content of the series as it allegedly portrayed members of a Tamil organization as a terrorist group.
Samantha has played a suicide bomber named Raji in the web series to be premiered on Amazon Prime Video on June 4.
The streaming site has refused to stop the premiere of the web series despite objections from Tamil groups. Tamil actor and politician Seeman has now demanded an apology from Samantha for essaying the role.
He also said Samantha, the makers, and the streaming app will have to ready to face the repercussions if they proceed with their plans to stream the series.
Samantha is maintaining a stoic silence on this controversy. She has not yet made any statement on this issue.
