The health of veteran Tamil actor Vijayakanth is said to have deteriorated considerably. He has been receiving treatment at a hospital in Chennai, and according to a medical statement, the famous actor will now need assistance with pulmonary treatment.

That suggests his respiratory problem has gotten worse. According to the statement, he will be hospitalized for another 14 days.
Vijayakanth’s fan base in Telugu states grew with Telugu dubbed versions of his Tamil films such as “Captain Prabhakar” and “Sindhoora Puvvu.”
He is quite popular in Tamilnadu and also runs a political party.
