Puri Jagannadh’s ‘iSmart Shankar’ has completed its censor formalities and is ready to hit the screens this Thursday. The film has been awarded A certificate. ‘iSmart Shankar’ has this concept of a chip a being planted in the brain.

Puri Jagannadh has admitted that the basic story is taken from a Hollywood movie that has the plot of police implanting a dead CIA operative’s memories in another person’s brain to complete an unfinished mission.

However, Puri says except the angle of the chip implant, the rest of the story and screenplay is original and his.

He is hoping that the film would put him back on the path of success. Ram has played the role of a double Dimaak Hyderabadi. So confident about the film’s success, Ram has left for a foreign destination for holidaying. He will join the film’s promotions only after the release.

‘iSmart Shankar’ is produced by Charmee and Puri Jagannadh together. Nidhhi Agerwal plays the role of a scientist who implants a chip in Ram’s brain while Nabha Natesh is the typical Telangana girl.
