The shooting of the musical love story began with a combination scene of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Speaking on this occasion, producer Ram Mohan said, "We will finish the film in three schedules. The present schedule will go on for 10 days. Sekhar Kammula has conceptualized an amazing musical love story."

Sekhar Kammula said, "This is the love story of two individuals who travel from the village to a city to pursue their dreams. Naga Chaitanya has been learning the Telangana dialect with quite a lot of interest. His role will be the highlight of the film. Sai Pallavi is going to be a surprise! And my films always are strong in terms of musical sense and that will be the same with this one too. Pavan who is a student from A.R. Rahman's music school is the composer for this film."
