Ala Vaikunthapurramloo Hindi release called off

After the success of ‘Pushpa The Rise’ in the Hindi market, Bollywood producer Manish Shah of Goldmines came up with the idea of releasing Allu Arjun’s ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ in theaters. Manish Shah holds the Hindi dubbing rights of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. To cash in on the craze, he had announced that he would be releasing the film in the theaters on January 26, 2022.

It was an unethical and unprofessional decision, as the film is currently being remade as ‘Shehzada’ in Hindi with Kartik Aryan reprising Allu Arjun’s role. Allu Aravind is co-producer of this Bollywood remake as well.

If the Hindi dubbed version of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ gets well-received by the audience, the Hindi remake will not stand any chance. So, the makers of ‘Shehzada’ have stepped in and made Manish Shah drop his plans.

“Manish Shah promoter of Goldmines along with the makers of Shehzada have jointly decided to withdraw the theatrical release of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version. Shehzada makers are thankful to Manish Shah for agreeing to the same,” the statement read.
