Analysis

Santosh Soban, a talented young actor, has been attempting to find success at the box office. He has full support from Prabhas, one of top stars in Indian cinema. While he has received praise for his acting, luck has not been on his side when it comes to scripts. None of his films, including Manchi Rojulochaie, Like, Share & Subscribe, Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, Sridevi Shoban Babu, and Anni Manchi Sakunamule, performed well at the box office, and he received criticism for choosing hollow scripts.

With his latest film, “Prem Kumar,” he has demonstrated yet again that he has poor script judgment. Not only is the script and the narration problematic, but his acting is also monotonous.

The main flaw of the film is its uninteresting narration. The film is mostly made up of random scenes. The entire thread of Prem Kumar’s attempt to involve himself with the ‘rising star’ is ridiculous and tedious.

“Prem Kumar” mostly looks like a farce.

As previously stated, Santosh Sobhan’s performance as PK is dull. He needs to stop playing such roles and reinvent himself. Rashi Singh performs okay. Krishna Teja, the comedian, does what’s required. Ruchita Sadineni is all right.

Bottom line: “Prem Kumar” is a tedious watch due to its clumsy narrative and dull sequences.
