Prithviraj Sukumaran: I worked on ‘Goat Life’ for five years

“The Goat Life” is scheduled to be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages on the 28th of this month. The pre-release press meet for this film took place in Hyderabad today.
The film is being released in the Telugu language by Mythri Movie Makers.

According to Prithviraj, the character portrayed in the film ‘Salaar’ is a work of fiction, whereas the film ‘Goat Life’ is grounded in real-life events.

“Varadaraja Mannar is a creation solely embodied in the imagination of Prashanth Neel. Najeeb, the role I played in ‘Goat Life’, is now alive. The book titled ‘Goat Days’ documented Najeeb’s life. We made a commitment to this project in the beginning of 2009. However, during that period, it was unfeasible to secure the necessary financial resources for this project.

The shooting commenced in 2019. I devoted to this project for many years,” he stated.

According to Prithviraj Sukumaran, he experienced weight loss and weight gain in preparation for the part. “The gained weight first and the lost 31 kg. We took a six-month break for weight loss regimen,” he stated.
