Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman has become quite selective These days, his songs are not being heard in many Bollywood films.
A decade ago, all high-profile Bollywood projects had his music. Even in the Tamil film industry, Rahman is collaborating with directors with whom he has developed a bond over the years.
Director Atlee of ‘Adirindhi’ and ‘Whistle’ fame seems to have developed a good rapport with Rahman. Atlee is all set to direct Shah Rukh Khan in his Bollywood debut. The film will be launched in the coming months.
Atlee has roped in Rahman for his maiden Bollywood project as well. The young director is working with his regular crew from Kollywood. GK Vishnu, of ‘Krack’ fame, will crank the camera. Ruben will edit the film. All the three – Rahman, GK Vishnu, and Ruben had worked with Atlee for ‘Adirindhi’ and ‘Whistle’ as well.
Atlee is ready with a bounded script.
