VK Naresh, a senior Telugu actor, is overjoyed. He received two favorable judgments from two different courts. Not only did he gain permission from a court to release his film “Malli Pelli” on OTT channels, but another ruling cleared the route for him to divorce his third wife, Ramya Raghupathi.

Ramya Raghupathii, the estranged wife of actor Dr. VK Naresh, filed an injunction complaint in Bangalore’s city civil court, requesting that the release of “Malli Pelli” in Telugu and “Matte Maduve” in Kannada be halted in theaters, OTT platforms, and satellite channels.

The court decided that Mrs. Raghupati’s reasons for filing the case against the films’ release were untenable and not legally viable. The court determined that the film’s content is entirely fictitious, as verified by Central Board of Film Certification. The court concluded that once the censor board accepts the film as fictional, a private person has no cause to restrict its release.

As a result of the verdict, the film can be available on OTT platforms and satellite channels. The film already hit the theaters.

Another court approved an order requested by actor Naresh and his family to ban Ramya Raghupathi from entering their Nanakranguda home. Ramya was served with an order forbidding her from entering Naresh’s residence.

The ruling of the court clears the way for Naresh and Ramya’s divorce. Naresh and actress Pavitra Lokesh will now “officially” tie the knot. They’ve been living together for quite some time.
